Several certificates from hacked repositories, two for Windows and one for Makovsky, were stolen from Github in early December (https://github.blog/2023-01-30-action-needed-for-github-desktop-and-atom-users/) Atom and Desktop are now kept up to date. This article is out of date.
Compatible with Desktop 3.0.2-3.1.2 and Atom 1.63.0-1.63.1. Desktops will transition to Atom starting April 4th. So if you use any of these, please note that already on the second of February, the certificates with which they are signed will fall off along with the applications themselves.
