GoTo following LastPass reports (https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/goto-says-hackers-stole-customers-backups-and-encryption-key/ ) about the interim results of the investigation after the cloud hack in November. The results are disappointing: the attackers stole encrypted backups of user data and the encryption key to their part.
Central and Pro accounts are affected: names and hashed passwords of users, information on deployment, initialization and two–factoring, as well as on purchase — emails, phone numbers, billing addresses and the last four digits from cards. The company does not say how many users are affected, and what encryption standard backups have. No traces of access to its development environment have been found in GoTo yet. But users of their service are unlikely to be particularly comforted.
